Condition & Measurements Guide
How ANSHEST Archive describes condition categories, seller notes and flat garment measurements for pre-owned dresses.
Condition scale
New With Tags — original retail tags are still attached. The piece is presented in its new condition category.
Excellent — exceptionally well-preserved. No notable wear is visible unless specifically shown or stated.
Very Good — gently worn or stored. Minor signs consistent with archive fashion may be present and are reflected in the price.
Good — visible signs of wear or age are present, but the piece remains structurally sound and wearable. Important details are shown in photos and notes.
Needs Care — the piece may benefit from cleaning, refreshing, or light corrective care. It is offered in this condition with pricing adjusted accordingly.
Restoration Piece — a stronger project piece for buyers comfortable with repair, restoration, or deeper condition work. Review all photos and notes carefully before requesting it.
How to read the condition notes
The condition category shows the overall level. Seller notes directly below it describe the specific details of the exact piece: for example pulled threads, marks, fading, storage traces, or alterations if present.
All items are pre-owned archive pieces unless explicitly marked New With Tags. Some were barely used, some were worn more often, and all are priced in view of their current condition and disclosed details.

Why measurements matter
Tag size is only a starting point. For pre-owned designer dresses, flat measurements, fabric behavior and condition notes are the safer way to evaluate fit before purchase.
